Rykneld Homes has extended its partnership with 1284.

The new arrangement will build upon work the two have been doing over recent months on the corporate communication of the regional housing association.

Rykneld Homes is responsible for the management, maintenance, and improvement of around 7,600 properties in the Chesterfield area.

It was set up in April 2007 as a non-profit making company to manage the housing stock on behalf of North East Derbyshire District Council.

1284 has been working with Rykneld since May 2023, supporting with press releases, media relations, and stakeholder work.

It included preparation of a Business Plan document which was agreed by the Board earlier in the Autumn.

Under the new partnership, 1284 will provide Rykneld Homes with services including:

• Press releases
• Content monitoring
• B2B social media
• Media relations
• Editorial support.

1284 has also worked with long-time collaborator Beth Walsh to provide Rykneld with a wide selection of high quality photography to use across its print and digital platforms.

1284 is a CIPR Chartered corporate communications agency operating with innovative people and organisations across the East Midlands.

The growing agency was awarded the Mark of Excellence at the CIPR’s national awards in London in 2023.

It is shortlisted for Small PR Consultancy of the Year at November’s Midlands PRide Awards, also run by the chartered industry body.
