1284 Communications has launched its new website as East Midlands business prepares to resume after the summer holidays.

The industry award-winning PR consultancy went live with its new site this morning.

It comes after a number of recent developments in the business, which is based on Loughborough University Science and Enterprise Park (LUSEP) and operates across the East Midlands.

1284 provides strategic communications to innovative high growth and mid-corp businesses in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

It also works with a number of regional local authorities, charities and social enterprises.

The website sets out services provided, which range from public relations to corporate communications.

And it introduces a number of case studies, setting out how 1284 interventions have supported regional clients since the company was founded in 2020.

1284 Managing Director George Oliver said the website required an update after a number of changes at the business over the first half of 2024.

"There's been a lot of change since the new year as we continue to grow the business at pace," he said.

"We've developed a new strategic business plan with the support of Emma Hanson at EDGE which will take us forward to 2030.

"Meanwhile, Lauren and Suz have joined the business and we have recently moved to bigger office space in Loughborough.

"In addition, we were shortlisted for the CIPR's UK Specialist Consultancy of the Year in the summer and there's been a lot of interest in that.

"It all means our capacity is growing and we will be taking on a couple more clients over coming months.

"All of that will be underpinned by the website, which is highly efficient and continues to rank very well for us in search."

The website was built by Rugby Web Design, with digital automations by Jetpack Marketing and images from Beth Walsh Photography.
