1284 Communications Account Director Amy Orton interviewed Leicester City defender Sophie Howard at the latest Menphys Sports Club. 

The live interview covered Sophie's career trajectory, from early days in the Bundesliga to her current role with Leicester City Women in the FA Women's Super League.

Sophie represented Germany at the U20 Women’s World Cup in 2012, finishing as runners-up, before committing to Scotland at senior level.

She made her debut for Scotland in 2017 and has since earned 56 caps 0- including appearances at the UEFA Women’s Euro 2017 and the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Menphys Sports Club brings together business leaders and sports enthusiasts to raise funds for vital work supporting children and young people with disabilities.
