Create Leicester and 1284 led an Inter-Agency Christmas Quiz - bringing together leading agencies to raise funds for two local charities.

More than £1,100 was gathered for Charity Link and Pedestrian through a combination of ticket sales and donations as more than 10 agencies signed up.

The sold-out event - held at The Exchange on December 5 - blended industry support with festive fundraising.

1284 Communications was joined by some of Leicester's brightest agencies - including Digital Planning, Bulb Studios, Herdl, Cite, and Effect Digital - as the group put their knowledge to the test in a general knowledge themed quiz.

Led by Quizmaster Dave, the event featured:

  • Gourmet pizza from Dough What
  • Festive attire and spot prizes
  • A yuletide DJ set from Bulb’s Mat Mabe and Jim Willis.

The quiz brought out the friendly local rivalry while strengthening inter-agency relationships within Leicester's creative sector.

"As Chair of Charity Link, I was thrilled with the turnout and generosity shown by these excellent agencies," said 1284 Communications CEO George Oliver.

“The strength of the Create Leicester network meant we’d sold out all the tables before we even advertised the event - we’ll need a larger venue next year!

"It's great to see local agencies come together in support of two Leicester charities that do so much good work in our area."

Jim Willis, Co-founder of Create Leicester, said: “Leicester's creative community has again done us proud.

"Their generosity helped us raise £1,100 which will be gratefully received by two fantastic local charities - Pedestrian and Charity Link - in the run up to Christmas."

Charity Link provides essential items and support to individuals and families facing financial hardship.

Pedestrian provides music and arts education to vulnerable young people and adults, offering alternative education.
