1284 Communications has been shortlisted for Midlands Small Consultancy of the Year 2025.
The Leicestershire-based consultancy has been listed in the Final 3 in its region for this year’s PRCA DARE Awards.
The DARE awards are regarded as a leading benchmark for excellence in public relations and communications across eight UK regions.
The awards are staged around the UK by the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) - the world’s largest professional body for public affairs, PR, and communications.
The PRCA is recognised for promoting high standards, advancing the profession, and upholding quality and ethical practice.
PRCA DARE recognises agencies making a significant contribution to their regions, with finalists selected by a panel of industry experts.
1284 Communications was shortlisted in recognition of its work in supporting innovation, productivity, and economic growth across the East Midlands.

1284 has quickly grown since launch in 2020. In the last 12 months it has reorganised internally and expanded, gaining a number of quality certifications and earning wide recognition for its B2B and G2B clients.
Based at Loughborough University’s Advanced Technology Innovation Centre, 1284 continued to prioritise professional development and community involvement over the last 12 months.
