1284 founder George Oliver and account director Amy Orton have each had their CIPR chartered practitioner status renewed for another year.

Chartered Institute of Public Relations Chartered PR Practitioner is the highest status that can be achieved in the profession.

George and Amy are required to each year demonstrate their ongoing dedication to professional development and ethical practice.

They must meet the high standards set by the CIPR for renewal.

And it means George and Amy are among only 773 Chartered Practitioners in the UK.

The significance of chartered status

Chartered PR practitioner status is an industry standard of professional excellence and integrity.

The status serves a mark of:

  •  Commitment to ethical practice
  •  Badge of professionalism
  •  Strategic and leadership capabilities

The CIPR describes this accreditation as a 'badge of professionalism that clients and the public understand and trust.

And it is only awarded to senior practitioners who pass a day-long assessment day led by experienced industry leaders.

George said: "This is my third year as a CIPR Chartered PR practitioner and Amy has now achieved two years.

"It means that our clients can expect a quality standard in their campaigns - and also that there is an independent review mechanism available to them if they feel that something has been done wrong."

The commitment to ongoing learning and development ensures that 1284 remains at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and ethical standards.

The company was last year accepted for Good Business Charter accreditation and has this year achieved Fair Payment Code Gold and Cyber Essentials Plus.
