Lauren Cropper has joined 1284 Communications as its first Account Executive.

She will specialise in working with 1284's nonprofit and charity clients while also maintaining the company's Good Business Charter accreditation and operations system.

The new role will see Lauren combining her full time work for 1284 with PRCA-provided training and support.

It means she will also gain a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship - equivalent to a foundation degree - and track her progress against highest industry standards.

Lauren will learn skills including planning and implementing communications campaigns, crisis communications, and both media and public relations.

She will also work under the guidance of 1284 managing director George Oliver and account director Amy Orton.

Amy said: “1284 is growing and, as a learning organisation, we wanted to bring in someone who wanted to establish their own career in the industry.

"We had a massive response to our job advert and we are very pleased to be working with a leading global industry body to get best-in-class training for Lauren.

“By working with clients while simultaneously studying studying with the PRCA, Lauren will apply what she’s learning while gaining practical workplace experience.”
